What is This type of scam?
Sextortion scams are a type of phishing attack whereby people are coerced to pay a ransom over the threat of people being told that you visited adult websites. They may clean they have screenshots or videos of you doing so. Often they will provide information such as a password.
They will play on your emotions, people will panic and start contacting their friends and families and this is not true don't believe them.
What the scammers are hoping you do is panic and pay the ransom.
They have no information they're just hoping to con you out of your cash.
Delete, ignore, and report it.
