The Facebook privacy notice scam is back.
Scammers ask you to copy and paste a certain notice that is supposed to put Facebook on notice about your privacy, while at the same time refresh your Facebook feed.
1️⃣ It's a hoax and it's not true
Your Facebook privacy is determined by you. You need to go in your settings and look for privacy checkup and set your own privacy.
2️⃣ Your feed doesn't refresh because When you log into Facebook you're not seeing the current feed. You need to go into feeds, click on your icon and scroll down to where you see feeds. You can then see everything new your friends have posted.
3️⃣ Scammers want you to post this, Because they can do searches on keywords in this phrase. They will then target people who copy and paste this.
4️⃣ This has been happening since at least 2012.
